Anumeha Sinha

South Asian (Indian)

Anumeha is a cinematographer and director, telling stories on community, identity and culture. As an immigrant, narratives of nostalgia and memory often guide her work.

She's developing her debut narrative short film, and actively looking to build producer & sound designer relationships.

As a filmmaker she works across commercial, documentary and narrative genres — some clients include Pinterest, Instagram, Ad Council, Lyft, and artist Raveena.  Her cinematography work has been featured on Rolling Stone India and NPR music. Her photography work has been featured on Fisheye Magazine, Booooooom! and others.

She is represented globally by ICM Partners.

On the side, she is the co-founder of Third Eye Collective, a professional community & career hub for South Asian creatives.

Active Projects

Time & Space — Writer & Director. Short Film. Logline in progress "After her home becomes an empty nest, an immigrant mother has a chance to play out an alternate life."

Stage: Script development & locking. Looking for screenwriting feedback and strategy on fundraising towards production.

My Friend, Stephanie — Writer, Director, Producer. Short Documentary. A personal documentary on my Indian grandmother and her 10-year-old American pen pal, Stephanie, whose close relationship still has a few things unshared.

Stage: Ongoing development. Due to Covid and Stephanie's bandwidth, filming hasn't yet been possible. We have funding interest from some private investors who have a direct tie to the story. Looking for any co-producers who would have an interest in this project when feasibility to film aligns.
